General Waste Management
Items like copper strips, waste wires, and cardboard packaging boxes are resold to recycling suppliers. food waste is collected by local farmers. Other household waste is collected and sent to the Anfu County Eco-Power Plant.
In 2022, recyclable waste amounted to 2,041 kg. Food waste was approximately 5,060 kg, and household waste totaled 18,795 kg.
Hazardous Waste Management
Hazardous waste such as waste organic solvents, empty containers of waste organic solvents, waste activated carbon, and waste fluorescent lamps containing mercury were collected and managed by specialists who are also responsible for contacting qualified suppliers for transportation and disposal.
0.56 metric tons of hazardous waste were transferred in May 2023.
